California’s election surprise: Voters aligned with GOP, not Democrats, on many initiatives

The results of the ballot measure contests in the November election show that California is a long way from the progressive paradise painted by Democratic leaders. Many of the same voters who pushed Democrat Joe Biden to a 5 million-vote win over President Trump in the state sided with Republicans on several initiatives.
