Lawmakers Press Judicial Council to Extend Freeze on Eviction Proceedings

Sakauye Wednesday evening, Senate leader Toni Atkins and Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon said that the Judicial Council's plan to rescind the emergency order as planned on Aug. 14 threatens the integrity of the legislative process for pending bills.
