Scooter companies like Bird and Lime, much like ride-hailing, have been greatly impacted by the Covid-19 outbreak with a drop in user demand. Some cities ordered micro-mobility providers to shut down temporarily while others could continue in some capacity to reduce crowding on public transit for essential workers that still needed to travel.
