The Oaks mall in Thousand Oaks is expected to change hands by year's end in a $157 million sale. Longtime owner The Macerich Co. announced the deal in its third-quarter earnings report on Nov. 6. The Santa Monica-based real estate investment trust bought the shopping center at 350 W. Hillcrest Drive in 2002.
