San Clemente uses strong finish to edge Mira Costa in girls basketball regionals

SAN CLEMENTE — The San Clemente girls basketball team pulled together when it mattered most. Those were the sentiments shared by San Clemente coach Kerri Husbands after the Tritons put forth a final spurt to defeat Mira Costa 51-47 in the second round of the CIF Southern California Division II regional playoffs on Thursday at San Clemente High School.
