‘This is what cancer is’: The death of actress Farrah Fawcett in 2009

Farrah Fawcett, model, actress and one of the original “Charlie’s Angels,” died June 25, 2009, in Providence St. John’s Health Center emergency room in Santa Monica, Calif. Fawcett died from anal cancer that had spread to her liver.
